On our trip to Wisconsin we had a layover in Chicago, IL at O'hare.
The hardest part was the luggage for carry on and the babies stuff.
Alex and Keira at the Spletter's home in New Holstein, WI. Population estimated at about 3000 people. The stay at Alex's Grandparents house was very quiet and relaxing. We had to bundle up though at night. Keira did not seem to notice where we were. Probably because she had most of her toys and her blanket and singing seahorse night light thingy ;)
Keira on a tractor in the Spletter's backyard. We could not resist taking this photo, even have a black and white version.
We went to the museum in Milwaukee. Keira in front of Dum Dum. We also saw the Titanic exhibit with all the artifacts, very cool exhibit.
Keira with Alex's other Grandmother on his mother's side.
Back at the Spletter's house in the front yard. GRASS!!! Keira touched the grass and found a leaf that she later manages to get into her mouth and try and eat. She looks so tickled in this photo.
Little do you know but the above picture was a battle of the babies over the book. Emerson on the right is Alex's youngest cousing at 18 months. Keira is in her 9th month here and does not see many babies. Later this scene turns in Keira holding on for dear life to Emerson book and Emerson putting her foot over it to get a grasp on the book. Emerson is on the table because she saw Keira on the table and climbed right up. :)
Last but not least prior to leaving we took a picture of Keira and the Spletter's. Paul Spletter left is 83 years old and Mary Jo right is 78 I believe. Keira Jo gets her middle name from this Great Grandma.
More posts to follow of pics since our trip.
